Dax Harwood Wants WWE Hall Of Fame Induction For The Midnight Express

Harwood wants WWE to induct the legendary tag team

Current AEW star Dax Harwood has called on WWE to induct The Midnight Express into their Hall of Fame this year.

Posting a recent picture of original Midnight Express member Dennis Condrey (sporting an FTR shirt) to Twitter, Harwood wrote:

"1/2 of the greatest tag team of all time, Dennis Condrey of The Midnight Express. The fast paced style of tag team wrestling is attributed to this man & Bobby Eaton. Do the right thing WWE. Put the Midnight Express in the Hall Of Fame this year".

Ric Flair also recently named the legendary tag team as one of his picks for this year's Hall of Fame class.

Though the Midnight Express never wrestled for WWE, they were a staple of the NWA/WCW during the 80's and early 90's. They are regarded, in particular, for their series of matches with arch-rivals The Rock 'n' Roll Express (who were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017).

There were several iterations of the Midnight Express, but the two most famous were Eaton's teams with Condrey and then Stan Lane.

Bobby Eaton passed away in August of last year, following years of health issues.
