Demon Finn Balor Returning At WWE WrestleMania 39

Finn Balor will bring back his alter ego at WrestleMania 39.

After Edge urged Balor to "bring your demon to meet the devil" at Mania on last week's episode of Raw, The Prince responded to his opponent, announcing that the Demon will be facing Edge inside Hell in a Cell at the Showcase of the Immortals. 

WrestleMania will be the Demon's first appearance on WWE TV since Balor challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at Extreme Rules 2021. The Demon lost that match after the top rope collapsed, causing Balor to tumble into the ring. This provided the opening for Reigns to hit a Spear for the win. 

Balor and Edge have been feuding since the summer of 2022 when Balor, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley kicked the WWE Hall of Famer out of Judgment Day. The Prince holds a singles win over Edge, having defeated him in an "I Quit" Match at Extreme Rules 2022. Edge scored a measure of revenge at Elimination Chamber as he and wife Beth Phoenix defeated Finn and Rhea Ripley. 

Edge looks set to revive his Brood persona for WrestleMania 39, with Gangrel reportedly scheduled for an appearance at the Show of Shows.
