Deonna Purrazzo & More Rule Out Appearing At Wrestling Entertainment Series' Inaugural Event

No Deonna Purrazzo on Wrestling Entertainment Series' first show

Wrestling Entertainment Series will be unable to fulfil their originally advertised card when the promotion's postponed inaugural event takes place on July 9.

IMPACT Wrestling's Deonna Purrazzo was booked to team with Chelsea Green against Tenille Dashwood and Madison Rayne at WES' first show that was originally set to take place on June 4 in Nottingham, England. It was announced on Tuesday the show had been pushed back, with Gzim Selmani (FKA WWE's Rezar of Authors Of Pain) blaming the move on The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations in the United Kingdom.

Purrazzo won't be heading to the UK for the rescheduled date, though, she announced on Twitter.

"This entire process has been frustrating, to say the least. I WILL NOT be making it for the 'postponed' July date. I hope to return to the UK under better circumstances soon," Purrazzo tweeted.

She won't be the only talent not travelling to the UK for July 9 either as Steve Maclin, Matt Rehwoldt, Chelsea Green, and Tenille Dashwood all announced they wouldn't be working the rescheduled date.

The original card was set to be headlined by 'The Titan' Adam Scherr vs. Alistair Overeem, and other former WWE Superstars in Lana, Nia Jax, and Mojo Rawley were scheduled to be in action.
