Details For Next AEW Battle Of The Belts Revealed

Another AEW Battle of the Belts on the way

All Elite Wrestling will be bringing back Battle of the Belts in only a couple of weeks.

According to PWInsider, AEW Battle of the Belts VIII will air on Saturday, October 21 at 10 pm ET on TNT in the United States. The show will be broadcast live immediately following that night's edition of Collision. Both shows will be taped at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee.

AEW have been airing editions of Battle of the Belts as TV specials since January 2022, with the shows being built around three title matches. There hasn't been a title change on the TV specials since Battle of the Belts II when Sammy Guevara defeated Scorpio Sky to regain the TNT Championship.

The last Battle of the Belts took place on July 15, 2023 at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The show saw Orange Cassidy defeat Lance Archer by count-out to retain the AEW International Title. Toni Storm also defeated Taya Valkyrie in their AEW Women's World Title match, and Luchasaurus successfully defended the TNT Championship against Shawn Spears.
