Dominik Mysterio To Make In-Ring Debut At WWE SummerSlam 2020

Rey Mysterio's son is out for revenge...

Since Seth Rollins gouged out Rey Mysterio's eye at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules, Dominik Mysterio has taken up the fight on his father's behalf. He has repeatedly attacked The Monday Night Messiah and his disciple Murphy and the attacks continued on last night's episode of Monday Night Raw.

Before Dominik made his entrance, Rollins almost came to blows with Samoa Joe as the former Universal Champion opened the segment by berating lead commentator Tom Phillips. This was too much for The Samoan Submission Machine who stood up to defend his broadcast partner. Before Joe could enter the ring, however, The Master Of The 619's son appeared out of nowhere and smashed Rollins across the back of the head with a kendo stick. He then tossed Murphy to the outside, Chop Blocked Seth into the ropes and hit him with a hellacious 619. Then, to put his enemies away, Dominik landed a vicious dive from the top rope.

After the confrontation, WWE announced the two Superstars will go one on one at SummerSlam 2020 on August 23. This wasn't the only match added to the card as the company confirmed Apollo Crews will defend the United States Championship against MVP in a rematch from last night.

Check out the announced card for SummerSlam 2020 below:
• Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Randy Orton - WWE Championship
• Dominik Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins
• Apollo Crews (c) vs. MVP - United States Championship
• The Street Profits (c) vs. Andrade & Angel Garza - Raw Tag Team Championship
