Dr. Britt Baker Wins Women's Owen Hart Cup Tournament At AEW Double Or Nothing

After beating Ruby Soho in the finals

Dr. Britt Baker wins the women's Owen Hart Cup tournament, after defeating Ruby Soho in the finals at AEW Double or Nothing on Sunday night in Las Vegas.

Baker won after countering Soho's victory roll by rolling back into her own version (a sort of nod to how Owen pinned Bret Hart at WrestleMania 10 in 1994). Late in the match, Soho had Baker locked in the Sharpshooter, but Baker managed to make it to the ropes.

Baker qualified with a win over Danielle Kamela. She defeated Maki Itoh and Toni Storm in succession to reach the final round.

Soho qualified for the tournament by defeating Robyn Renegade. She defeated Riho and Kris Statlander in subsequent tournament bouts to reach the finals.

Adam Cole won the men's Owen Hart tournament earlier in the evening, defeating Samoa Joe in the final round.

After Baker's victory, her and Cole were honored on the stage in a ceremony presided over by Dr. Martha Hart. She awarded both winners with commemorative championship belts that depicted Owen's likeness.
