Drew McIntyre Appearance Set For WWE Raw

The former WWE champion did not appear this past week

WWE announced on Friday night that former two-time WWE champion Drew McIntyre will make his first appearance since losing the championship, on this Monday's edition of Raw.

McIntyre will address the attack from Bobby Lashley at Elimination Chamber that softened him up for The Miz, who then cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase, beating him for the WWE title.

McIntyre had just wrestled the majority of an Elimination Chamber bout proceeding the attack and title change. He outlasted AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston, Jeff Hardy, and Sheamus to retain his belt for the moment.

Monday's edition of Raw will also include a WWE title bout pitting The Miz against Lashley. The match stemmed from an agreement that Lashley would get the first shot at Miz's belt if he were to help weaken McIntyre, in facilitation of the title change.

McIntyre did not appear on the post-Chamber edition of Raw. The only hinted-at direction from that broadcast for McIntyre going forward was Sheamus reiterating that he wants a one on one match with him.
