Drew McIntyre Reacts To Losing World Heavyweight Title At WWE WrestleMania 40

Drew McIntyre has commented on his WWE World Heavyweight Championship loss at WrestleMania 40

Drew McIntyre finally got his WrestleMania moment when the ‘Scottish Psychopath’ defeated Seth Rollins to capture the World Heavyweight Championship… only for Damian Priest to run in and successfully cash in his Money in the Bank contract to leave with the gold.

Priest was assisted by CM Punk, with Punk attacking a gloating McIntyre post-win, and on X/Twitter, McIntyre could only say ‘F***’ about his loss.

McIntyre’s World Heavyweight Championship reign is the shortest in the history of the current belt, and is one of the shortest in WWE history. What’s certain is that Priest now has a massive target on his back, with McIntyre surely set to want payback, never mind the fact that CM Punk will be watching from the wings, whilst an Intercontinental Title-less GUNTHER will no doubt be looking to bounce back from his loss against Sami Zayn and make a statement.

Despite the briefness of his reign, McIntyre goes into the record books as a three-time World Champion in WWE, with his quick reign with the World Heavyweight Championship going alongside his two runs as WWE Champion.
