Drew McIntyre Still Yet To Sign New WWE Deal

Drew McIntyre's post-WrestleMania 40 future is still unknown.

Drew McIntyre is still yet to sign a new contract with WWE, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite, who reports:

"Since Drew McIntyre continues to get pushed as one of the top focal points for the Men's Royal Rumble match, we keep getting asked if he has signed a new WWE deal.  In asking sources, we are told that thus far, nothing has changed.  If a new deal isn't signed, McIntyre would be free and clear right after WrestleMania 40 as his deal was extended due to some time off he took after 'Mania 39.  So, there's time to get a deal done.  As we've noticed, we were told that since Endeavor acquired the company, WWE was locking in new contracts in the order they were due to expire."

The Raw Superstar remains a featured part of WWE's plans heading into the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 40. He recently confirmed that he'd be part of the men's Royal Rumble match this Saturday, and had a fiery confrontation with CM Punk on TV.

McIntyre also won the main event of last night's Raw, defeating former ally Damian Priest of the Judgment Day.
