Dustin Rhodes Reveals He Suffered "Busted Eardrum" On AEW Rampage

An injury to Dustin Rhodes on AEW Rampage

Dustin Rhodes competed in his first AEW match in two months on Friday's episode of Rampage but the night didn't go as planned for The Natural.

Rhodes was able to defeat Lance Archer in their singles match on Rampage but an enraged Murderhawk Monster proceeded to attack Dustin after the bell, leaving the former Goldust busted open after throwing him around the ringside area and tossing him into the steel steps.

The match has left Rhodes with an injury and the 52-year-old noted on Twitter that he received five stitches backstage and suffered a "busted eardrum."

"Hey guys, rough night, told you all I'd give you an update. Got five stitches in the head. Pretty sore. The main thing is that I have a busted eardrum. Cannot hear out of it at all. But guess what? I'm in good spirits and I'm not going anywhere," he said.

When Rhodes will return from his injury is currently unknown. His win over Archer ties their record against each other at one win apiece. Archer previously defeated Dustin in the TNT Title tournament back in April 2020.
