Eddie Edwards Signs New Deal With TNA Wrestling

Eddie Edwards is sticking around in TNA Wrestling

Eddie Edwards is the latest name to commit their future to the relaunched TNA Wrestling, with the multi-time world champion having signed a new deal with promotion.

The announcement was confirmed by TNA after being broken by PWInsider, with Edwards’ re-signing following on from the recent signings of Trent Seven, and KUSHIDA.

Edwards has been with TNA/IMPACT since 2014, originally coming in as part of The Wolves with former tag partner Davey Richards. During his time in the company, Edwards has held the TNA/IMPACT World Championship twice, the TNA World Tag Team Championships five times, and the X Division Championship twice, making him a Triple Crown Champion - the eighth in company history.

A constant presence on TNA/IMPACT TV, Edwards last wrestled at the Final Resolution IMPACT Plus special on December 9, teaming with Brian Myers in an unsuccessful attempt to unseat ABC as World Tag Team Champions.

Outside of TNA/IMPACT, Edwards is also a former one-time GHC Heavyweight Champion in Pro Wrestling NOAH, and was the first-ever Triple Crown champion in Ring of Honor. Edwards also wrestled for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla in the early to mid-2010s.
