Eddie Edwards Wants To See EC3 At Impact Wrestling's Slammiversary

Could we see a Carter back in Impact?

Could we see Ethan Carter III show up at Impact Wrestling's Slammiversary on Saturday? If fellow former World champion Eddie Edwards has his way, that's what would happen.

Impact has teased the possible appearances of a number of recently-released WWE stars, many of them with previous ties to the promotion. One is former two-time World champion EC3, who was part of that mass exodus of WWE in April.

A mystery participant has been teased for the four-way match to determine the new Impact World champion, and match entrant Edwards spoke on Busted Open Radio regarding who he'd like the slot to go to.

"If I'm being selfish, I'm friends with EC3, I'd love to see EC3 back," Edwards said. "He meant so much to TNA and IMPACT. He was there when I first came in and I'm still friends with him. I would love to see him back and see what he's capable of doing now with the new character that we see on Twitter and the socials.

I'd love to see what he can accomplish and I'd love to wrestle him again. The story can tell itself. EC3 is a former Carter and I've been here the whole time, struggling, doing my best to be the face of the company to help IMPACT so I think that story writes itself."
