Eddie Kingston Likely To Undergo Surgery Due To Hernia

Eddie Kingston dealing with a hernia

After a narrow defeat to Ring of Honor World Champion Claudio Castagnoli at ROH Supercard of Honor, fans were hoping that Eddie Kingston would dust himself off and come back for another shot at the gold.

However, we may be waiting some time before Kingston is ready to mount a title challenge, with the news that ‘The Mad King’ is dealing with a hernia and is likely to undergo surgery to fix it.

As seen on the April 13 edition of ROH TV, Kingston was the feature of a video package highlighting his title battle against Claudio, with Kingston revealing that he has been dealing with a hernia since September and will ‘most likely’ need to go under the knife in order to properly deal with it, with Kingston insinuating that he aggravated the injury at Supercard of Honor.

Kingston also revealed during the video package that he is still under contract to All Elite Wrestling despite wrestling primarily for ROH, with Kingston ‘walking out’ of AEW on TV earlier this year.
