Report: Length Of Brian Cage's New AEW Deal Revealed

Brian Cage is believed to have signed a new AEW deal

Brian Cage is believed to have recently put pen-to-paper on a new deal with All Elite Wrestling, ending speculation about The Embassy heavy hitter’s immediate future.

Reports suggested that ‘The Machine’ agreed to a new deal shortly after ROH Supercard of Honor, with his prior AEW/ROH deal believed to have expired after the PPV on March 31. A follow-up report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter states that Cage has signed a new five-year deal with the company, with the former IMPACT World Champion tied to AEW/ROH until 2028 if correct.

Since retaining the ROH World Six Man Tag Team Titles with The Gates of Agony at Supercard of Honor, Cage has been heavily featured across AEW TV. The Embassy now backs up Swerve Strickland in AEW and Cage himself put a beatdown on Darby Allin on Swerve’s behalf earlier this month.

A former FTW Champion during his time in AEW, Cage has also held championships in PWG, IMPACT, and Lucha Underground, and was a co-winner of the 2016 Lucha Libre World Cup in AAA.
