Eddie Kingston Pulled From Show Due To Covid

Eddie Kingston Has Been Pulled From An Event Due To A Positive Covid-19 Test

The upcoming OTT ScrappleMania 7 event seems to be engulfed in a lot of bad luck. Eddie Kingston was drafted into the show to replace Jon Moxley, who was pulled in order to compete in AEW’s Ohio House Shows event, but as luck would have it, he has been confined to isolation after a positive Covid-19 test.

Replacements for Kingston’s two matches have been found and announced on twitter, with Gabriel Kidd filling the role against Man Like Dereiss in Wolverhampton, whilst Davey Richards was announced to go against Big Damo in Dublin. The status of that latter match was unclear though after the announcement that Richards was retiring from professional wrestling, but it was later announced by OTT that Richards was pulled too.

The updated cards for the two shows on March 18 and 19 are as follows;

Night One:

  • Millie McKenzie, Lee Hunter & Omari vs. Session Moth Martina, Danny Cross, & LJ Clearly - Santino Marella As Special Guest Referee
  • Kid Lykos vs. Robbie X
  • The Draw (c) vs. Michael Oku & Leon Slater - OTT Tag Team Championships
  • Sammy D (c) vs. Trent Seven - NLW Nationwide Championship
  • PAC vs. Big Damo
  • Man Like Dereiss vs. Gabriel Kidd

Night Two:

  • Danny Cross (c) vs LJ Cleary - OTT Gender Neutral Championship
  • Debbie Keitel (c) vs Session Moth Martina - OTT Women’s Championship
  • Santino Marella & The Sem vs. Renzo Rose & Ilja Zarkov
