Effy Challenges Rishi Sunak To A Cage Match

Effy wants Rishi Sunak in a Steel Cage Match

Professional wrestling and UK politics continue to mix in 2022.

A former WWE employee in Michelle Donelan was appointed Education Secretary earlier this year and she now serves in Rishi Sunak's cabinet as Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. Now, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has been challenged to a Steel Cage Match.

Taking to Twitter ahead of his UK tour, independent wrestling standout Effy issued the challenge.

"There's a real reason I'm coming back to the UK. You got rid of Boris - which was a good move. Then you got Liz Truss, who was garbage but she knew that. And now Rishi Sunak - I'm coming back to the UK to challenge you to a Cage Match. I'm going to beat the hell out of you in a Cage Match, become Prime Minister of the UK and abolish the UK. Then we'll go back to Anarchy in the UK, except without the Sex Pistols being put together by a conglomerate and being a corporate entity. All you Tories watch out, because I'm going to make you f**k off," Effy said.

Rishi Sunak has yet to respond to the challenge.

Effy will compete in the United Kingdom in early December, wrestling for TNT Extreme Wrestling on December 1 before a match in NORTH Wrestling on December 2.
