WWE SmackDown star Elektra Lopez has been released. Her profile had been moved to the 'Alumni' section of WWE.com, with PWInsider subsequently confirming that she had been let go.

Lopez was a member of Legado del Fantasma and last wrestled on the December 6, 2024 edition of SmackDown, where she took on Tiffany Stratton and Naomi in a triple threat first-round match in the tournament to crown the inaugural WWE United States Women's Champion.

Her last SmackDown singles match took place on April 6, where she defeated Zelina Vega. Between that and her December outing, Lopez wrestled just one other match, a loss to Kairi Sane on WWE Speed (on September 13).

Lopez joins Cedric Alexander, Giovanni Vinci, Isla Dawn, The Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar), Sonya Deville, Blair Davenport, The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows) and Paul Ellering as part of the recent round of roster cuts.

The releases are believed to be related to upcoming NXT call ups.

Real name Karissa Rivera, Lopez wrestled on the independent scene prior to signing with WWE in 2021. She initially competed on NXT and was left behind when Legado del Fantasma were brought to the main roster, before joining up with them again in January 2024.
