Ember Moon Comments On Potentially Signing With AEW

Since her WWE release in November of 2021, Athena (Ember Moon) has yet to show up in another major company and the former NXT Women's Champion has solely competed on various independent wrestling shows in recent months. 

Some believe All Elite Wrestling should sign The War Goddess but Athena noted to Chris Van Vliet that her joining Tony Khan's promotion was ultimately up to AEW.

"That's up to them, technically. I've been very open and being like, 'Whoever offers, let's do it.' I just want to wrestle and have fun," Athena said. 

AEW and the former WWE talent have reportedly held 'light talks' since Athena's WWE exit but there was no urgency within Tony Khan's company to sign the 33-year-old. 

Athena has previously teased a TBS Title match with Jade Cargill and the former Ember Moon has faced AEW talents in Thunder Rosa, Skye Blue, and Swerve Strickland on the indies.
