Ember Moon 'Gutted & Angry' After Being Pulled From August 10 WWE NXT

Ember Moon has admitted to feeling 'gutted and angry' after a further setback saw the WWE star not medically cleared to compete on this week's NXT.

Moon has been advertised as taking on Sarray in the opening match of the August 10 edition of the black-and-gold brand, but a late change saw Moon pulled from the show and replaced by Dakota Kai. 

WWE confirmed on social media in the build-up to NXT and Moon's absence was due to her being 'deemed not medically cleared to compete'. However, no further details as to Moon's absence or reason behind her not receiving clearance have been disclosed.

Moon herself has now commented on her situation, admitting she has endured a difficult month since she last competed for WWE. 

Writing on Twitter, she said: "This has been an extremely rough month, I am angry and gutted! I was really looking forward to this match and getting back on track but just got another pothole in the road. I'm sorry!"

Moon has not been in action since facing, and being defeated by, Kai on the July 13th show. 

Moon returned to WWE NXT last October following injury, and won the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship with Shotzi Blackheart.
