Ember Moon's First Post-WWE Appearance Confirmed
Moon was released by WWE in November
The former Ember Moon's first wrestling-related appearance since leaving WWE has been confirmed.
Moon, now known as Athena, will be taking part in a Meet And Greet session,hosted by Ultimate Starz Promotions, at Baltimore Celebfest 3 in February.
Athena will be chatting to and posing for photographs with fans at the event, which will run for four hours on Saturday 6 February 2022. Pre-sale tickets for the event can be purchased here.
Moon's time with WWE came to an end in November when she was released by the promotion, along with a host of other names, during the latest round of reported 'budget related cuts' from the company.
Moon had been in WWE for six years, across NXT and the main roster, and had returned to NXT in September 2020. Moon is a former NXT Women's Champion and a former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion, having held the titles alongside Shotzi Blackheart.
It has been reported that Moon was tied to a 90-day non-compete clause following her departure from the promotion, which would free her up to work outside of WWE from early February.
