Eric Bischoff On AEW: "It's Literally The Inmates Running The Asylum"

Eric Bischoff on AEW's internal issues

All Elite Wrestling has once again been engulfed by backstage issues involving CM Punk and Eric Bischoff is less than impressed by Tony Khan's handling of the situation, saying on Strictly Business that the AEW CEO couldn't "manage a clown car."

"It's literally the inmates running the asylum at this point and the entire company looks like a giant clown car filled with juvenile unprofessional self-absorbed children. Not all of them obviously, I don't want to cast such a broad net, but I've never seen anything like this before. Could you imagine if Tony Khan would have been able to buy WWE? You can't manage a clown car at this point," Bischoff said.

Instead of fighting amongst themselves, Bischoff believes the talent should be focused on All In and the over 80,000 tickets that have been distributed for the August 27 pay-per-view at London's Wembley Stadium.

It emerged last week that CM Punk has blocked the likes of Christopher Daniels, Matt Hardy, and Ryan Nemeth from AEW Collision tapings. Top wrestlers, however, are keeping quiet about Punk due to Tony Khan's relationship with the 44-year-old
