Report: Long-Term Plans For WWE Tag Team Revealed

What could a WWE tag team be doing in the future?

Long-term plans for a WWE tag team have been revealed.

Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza have been featured on WWE NXT since mid-June, although the cousins are going through a rough patch in their relationship, having split in late July following a loss to Dragon Lee and Nathan Frazer, with Carrillo walking out on Angel after he became upset at Garza's constant pursuit of women.

The cousins have sent each other longing text messages since their split, teasing that a reunion will eventually take place on WWE NXT, at which point Los Lotharios look set to become more of a serious outfit.

While Carrillo and Garza are currently on NXT, that isn't the long-term plan for Los Lotharios. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the idea long-term is for Humberto and Angel to become a babyface tag team on the main roster. They will become babyfaces by connecting Garza and Carrillo to their grandfather, with the idea he was a superstar in Mexico.

Garza and Carrillo initially feuded on WWE TV but they reunited in the summer of 2021 to form Los Lotharios.
