The debut episode of the Vice TV series Who Killed WCW? aired this past Tuesday and, already, it has created some controversy.

On the show, Bret Hart was openly critical of the company, specifically, former WCW President Eric Bischoff, who The Hitman referred to as "Hulk Hogan's puppet". When asked to sum up his time in WCW, Bret replied "Thanks for nothing. Go f**k yourselves".

On a recent special edition of his 83 Weeks podcast, Bischoff responded to Hart's comments, saying:

"Did I expect Bret Hart to be crabby and grouchy and blame the world? Sure. We hear it every time we hear Bret, he's angry at somebody, nothing new there".

Continuing, Bischoff noted that he saw his fellow WWE Hall of Famer recently and, while the two were cordial, he added that the former WWE Champion looked 'miserable' and questioned how much he knew about the ins and outs of what was happening internally in WCW.

"I saw him in Australia a couple of weeks ago. I was there and he was there and I said hello to him, acknowledged him and met his wife and she seems like a very nice person. But you just look at this guy from across the room and he looks... miserable. I don't know, maybe deep down inside he's a very joyful person, but he looks miserable, it's the same old s**t. Bret didn't have a f**king clue what was going on in WCW", he said.

Last year, Bischoff said that 'nothing good' came out of Bret signing with WCW in 1997. Whilst Bret and Eric may not be on the best of terms, Hart has reconciled with Earl Hebner.
