After a short period of rumour and confusion, Stu Grayson officially left AEW last week, after failing to agree terms on a new deal.

The Dark Order founder’s exit was a shock to many wrestling fans, and Grayson’s long-term tag partner Evil Uno has commented on his partner’s exit, posting the following to Twitter:

“Stu Grayson is one of the best performers in the world. Whatever he does next, Evil Uno knows he will continue to be one of the best. #SSBForever”

Uno and Grayson joined AEW in 2019, and after a shaky start in the promotion became crowd favourites with The Dark Order, aligning with Adam Page in his quest for the AEW World Championship, as well as being cult favourites due to their work on the Being The Elite YouTube series.

Before AEW, Grayson and Uno were known for their work on the Independent Scene as the Super Smash Brothers - Player Uno and Player Dos/Stupefied - where the pair held tag gold in CHIKARA, and PWG amongst others.
