Exclusive: AEW's Ethan Page On Match With The Green Ranger: "Never Say Never"

Professional wrestling has a long history of celebrity matches and the likes of Shaquille O'Neal, Dennis Rodman, Mr. T, and Stephen Amell have all stepped inside the squared circle over the years.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers almost crossed over into wrestling in 2019 and the man behind the Green Ranger and White Ranger, Jason David Frank, was originally scheduled to face Ethan Page but the match fell through at the last minute. 

Now with All Elite Wrestling, Page hasn't lost hope of the match eventually taking place and he said "never say never" while on Desert Island Graps with Tom Campbell. 

Speaking with Tom about how close the match with Jason David Frank was to happening, Page stated: "Very close. Graphics were made, approved. It was ready to go and then more money and I assume a better booking came by and it was, 'Do I take another weekend convention or do I go wrestle this guy in his hometown?' It ended up being a better business decision for the Green Ranger to go to a convention. But never say never, never say never."

If the Green Ranger vs. Ethan Page will ever happen ultimately remains to be seen.
