Professional wrestling history is littered with fantastic wrestlers and the top wrestler of all time, for a very brief period, was Big Boom AJ of the Costco Guys as he found himself as the #1 ranked wrestler on Cagematch.net in November.

AJ rose to the top of the pile following 20 ratings of 10 which gave him an average rating of 9.81, allowing him to climb above the likes of Kenta Kobashi, Mitsuharu Misawa, Toshiaki Kawada, Mayu Iwatani, and Manami Toyota.

Addressing his brief spell as the #1 ranked wrestler of all time, Big Boom AJ admitted to Cultaholic's Tom Campbell that he was honoured to have been held in such high esteem.

After being asked if he knew about the situation while it was happening, AJ said:

"Now that you bring it up, I did. I didn't really know a lot about what it was but it's an honour and I just want to say thank you to everyone. When I decided to come back, I knew it was gonna be a boom. I told AEW, 'Look I'll come back but this isn't going to be a circus. I can wrestle and I'm gonna train hard and I'm gonna come out and we're gonna do a real wrestling match and I'm gonna bring it.'"

AJ was only briefly at the top of the Cagematch rankings as the website's moderators removed the ability to leave a rating on Big Boom AJ's profile.

Big Boom AJ is currently out of action after breaking his foot before his AEW Full Gear match with QT Marshall. He is well on the road to recovery, though, and the plan is for AJ to be in action at AEW's Revolution pay-per-view in March.
