EXCLUSIVE: Matt Hardy Reveals How He Plans To Evolve 'Broken' Matt In TNA

Matt Hardy to change his Broken gimmick

Only a couple of weeks after he became a free agent, Matt Hardy returned to TNA Wrestling to close out the promotion's Rebellion pay-per-view. Hardy returned to his 'Broken' gimmick as part of his return to TNA and the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion is planning to evolve the gimmick.

Speaking exclusively to Cultaholic Wrestling's Tom Campbell, Matt revealed he is planning to transition the 'Broken' character into something akin to the relationship between Bruce Banner and the Incredible Hulk.

"I'm going to make it very clear in this run in TNA, and we're probably going to shoot a vignette in the next couple of days, my wife and I, that Matt Hardy of The Hardy Boyz, the guy sitting here talking to you talking normally without a strange accent, him and I are one and the same. It's almost like a Bruce Banner/Incredible Hulk-type deal," Matt said.

"We're going to make that a lot more transparent and I think that is going to add a lot of nice layers to storytelling going forward. Like, be careful if you push me to reach my breaking point, you won't like me. I think there's some interesting stuff we can do there."

Matt Hardy remains a free agent following his TNA return. He will be in action at Friday night's Under Siege TNA+ special when Matt teams with "Speedball" Mike Bailey and Trent Seven to take on The System's Moose, Eddie Edwards, and Brian Myers.
