EXCLUSIVE: Mike Bennett Would Love WWE Return

Mike Bennett is open to going back to WWE

A former WWE star is open to a return.

Mike Bennett (fka Mike Kanellis) previously performed in WWE alongside wife Maria but they were primarily utilised as an undercard act and were eventually released in April of 2020 after four years with the company.

Despite his poor experience, Bennett told Cultaholic Wrestling's Tom Campbell that he has unfinished business in WWE.

"I feel, and I don't know what anyone else feels but I don't really care because it's my life and what I want to do, I feel like I have unfinished business there. My dream was to be a WWE wrestler. That dream doesn't go away just because you have a lousy experience with one guy. It just doesn't. You still always have that itch in the back of your head," Bennett said on Desert Island Graps.

The Miracle did make sure to note that he is happy in IMPACT Wrestling, where he is one-half of the IMPACT World Tag Team Champions with Matt Taven, and he is thankful for what Scott D'Amore has done for his family. The wrestling world can change in an instant, though, and with that in mind, Bennett admitted he would love to work for WWE's Triple H and AEW, as well as wrestle in Japan again.

"There is always where the wrestling goes and you have to look at it from a business standpoint. I have a family to take care of and bills to pay and a mortgage to pay. I have dreams that exceed IMPACT Wrestling so 100% if Triple H were to call I would give him the time of day because, like I said, I loved working for him. I would keep anything open at this point. I would love to go work for Tony Khan, I would love to go work for Triple H. I love working for Scott D'Amore. But I really want to go back to Japan. That's my first step and man, I would love to work for Triple H," Bennett added.
