Final Number For TNA Slammiversary 2024 PPV Buys

TNA Slammiversary 2024 final buyrate revealed

Slammiversary 2024 took place last month on July 20 in Montreal from the Verdun Auditorium, and it featured Nic Nemeth winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship after outlasting a field of Joe Hendry, Josh Alexander, Moose, Frankie Kazarian and Steve Maclin in a chaotic main event. Elsewhere, Mike Bailey was crowned the X-Division Champion by defeating Mustafa Ali, NXT’s No Quarter Catch Crew lost to The Rascalz, and Jordynne Grace defended her gold against Ash By Elegance.

One month following the show, the final number for PPV buys has been revealed by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The final estimate is upwards of 26,000 with TV buys bringing in 8,000. It is noted that this is the third or fourth best number for the company since no longer being on Spike TV. This falls way short of Hard To Kill at the start of the year, which produced well over 60,000 buys in total, which puts it in contention with the highest buyrates in the entirety of TNA’s history. Hard To Kill came hand in hand with the rebranding of the company back to “TNA” from “IMPACT”.
