Both Kyle O'Reilly and Finn Balor left the Capitol Wrestling Center on Sunday with painful injuries following their main event match at NXT TakeOver: 31. The bout ultimately ended early and WWE later announced the challenger had multiple broken teeth, while The Prince suffered possible facial fractures.

It was believed Finn had a broken jaw and he announced last night that he did indeed break his jaw in two places following a Knee Strike from O'Reilly.

The NXT Champion tweeted: "Broken jaw in two places. Still the CHAMPION. Full story tonight on @WWENXT @USA_Network @btsportwwe."

Dr. Jeffrey Westerfield provided an update on both Superstars during last night's NXT. He noted O'Reilly wouldn't be on TV this week and Finn will be on the sidelines for "a little bit of time" to allow his jaw to heal.

Fortunately for the black and gold brand, Finn won't be on the shelf long-term and the NXT Title won't have to be vacated for the second time in seven weeks.
