Dexter Lumis Returns On WWE NXT

After 2 months on the sidelines...

Back on the July 29 edition of NXT, Dexter Lumis faced off against Finn Balor and Timothy Thatcher for the right to advance to the North American Title Ladder Match at NXT TakeOver: XXX. The Creepy B*****d managed to pick up the win, but he was ruled out of the Ladder Match because he suffered an osteochondral lesion during the Triple Threat. It later emerged Lumis picked up the injury doing the flip over the top rope spot, which was heavily edited.

The NXT star has been on the shelf ever since, but he returned to the black and gold brand last night and answered Austin Theory's open challenge. Dexter showed no signs of ring rust during their 12-minute match and he emerged victorious from the contest after he forced Theory to pass out to the Anaconda Vice.

Lumis didn't have any time to celebrate his victorious return, however, as Cameron Grimes appeared from out of nowhere and caught him with the Cave In. The returning star now looks set to feud with The Technical Savage in the coming weeks.
