Finn Balor Reportedly Set For Significant Push On WWE Raw

It's been a weird year for the leader of Balor Club on Monday nights...

Finn Balor's 2018 has been a really strange one on WWE Raw.

After starting the year in what looked like being a pretty hot feud alongside former Bullet Club-turned-Balor Club colleagues Gallows and Anderson against the trio of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan (yes, this is something that was actually going on in January), it feels like The Extraordinary Man Who Does Extraordinary Things has wrestled very ordinary matches against Baron Corbin ever since.

More recently, of course, Balor has been locked in a rivalry triangle of sorts against Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler, a feud that is set to see the Irishman get a significant push - that's according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, at least.

It's a short one from Dave, but to avoid all doubt here's the direct quote from this week's Newsletter: "And Finn Balor, after being mired in the middle, is about to get a significant push, at least for a little while."

Balor faces McIntyre and Ziggler in a triple threat match on next week's Raw. If you'd like to know what happened in that match, plus everything else that went down on the show, click here. Full spoilers for next week's SmackDown Live are also available, here.
