Finn Balor Still Wants To Face WALTER In WWE NXT UK

Back in early 2020, Finn Balor and WALTER looked set to go one on one but WWE was ultimately forced to scrap the feud because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The two men went their separate ways in NXT and NXT UK, but WALTER admitted last week that he is still hoping to go one on one with The Prince at some point down the line. 

Now, Balor has revealed during an interview with Steel Chair magazine that he is also still keen to return to NXT UK and square off with WALTER.

"There's obviously a huge possibility in the future that will be back on Raw or back on SmackDown, but something that really interests me right now is a return to NXT UK. I've been very keen to wrestle WALTER for a long time, and that match got taken away from us by COVID. Hopefully, the world is starting to return to a little bit more normality and, hopefully, in the future, we'll get that match with me and Walter," Balor stated.

If WWE will revive plans for the match ultimately remains to be seen. Both men will be in action at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, though, as WALTER will defend the NXT United Kingdom Title against Tommaso Ciampa tonight while Finn Balor will put the NXT Championship on the line against Karrion Kross on April 8.
