First Matches Announced For NJPW Capital Collision

Matches revealed for NJPW Capital Collision

New Japan Pro-Wrestling have revealed the first matches for their upcoming Capital Collision show in Washington D.C. at the Entertainment & Sports Arena on Saturday, April 15.

Announced for the card is Fred Rosser vs. Juice Robinson. Fred Rosser had been the STRONG Openweight Champion but he dropped the belt to KENTA at Battle in the Valley on February 18 after Robinson returned to NJPW and decked the former Darren Young with a fistful of coins. This provided KENTA with the opening to connect with the Go To Sleep for the win.

CMLL rivals Rocky Romero and Volador Jr. will also clash in tag team action. Romero will team with Tomohiro Ishii, Lio Rush, Clark Connors, and the DKC to take on Volador, KUSHIDA, Kevin Knight, "Speedball" Mike Bailey, and the returning Gabriel Kidd.

The West Coast Wrecking Crew will also be in action on the pre-show when they square off with TMDK's Shane Haste and Bad Dude Tito.

More matches for Capital Collision will be announced in the coming weeks. The likes of Kazuchika Okada, Tetsuya Naito, Hiromu Takahashi, and El Desperado are scheduled to be in action at the show.
