Former ECW Star Returns To IMPACT Wrestling At Recent Tapings

A former ECW star was in action at IMPACT's tapings from the 2300 Arena

IMPACT Wrestling held two days of tapings at 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19, and a former Extreme Championship Wrestling star was in action inside the venue ECW made famous.

During the second day of tapings, Matt Cardona went one-on-one with Little Guido, with the IMPACT Digital Media Champion picking up the win.

The match was Guido's first appearance inside an IMPACT ring since 2013's TNA One Night Only: Hardcore Justice 2 when he took part in a Hardcore Battle Royal that was won by Shark Boy.

Prior to that, Little Guido had a brief run in TNA in 2010 where he reformed The Full Blooded Italians with Tony Luke and Tracy Smothers to defeat Kid Kash, Simon Diamond, and Johnny Swinger at the inaugural Hardcore Justice. Guido then made a few more appearances in the promotion and he and Tony Luke were squashed by Beer Money Inc. on an August episode of IMPACT.

Guido is more famous for his time in ECW from 1996 until 2001 and his WWE run from 2002 until 2008. The now-50-year-old continues to wrestle, regularly performing for various independent promotions.
