Last night's episode of NXT was main evented by a Six-Man Tag Team match between The Undisputed ERA and Tommaso Ciampa & The BroserWeights. After the match ended in a disqualification, Adam Cole led his stable in a beat down of The Sicilian Psychopath to seemingly end the broadcast.

However, before the show went off the air, the lights went out at Full Sail University. Three rings then suddenly appeared on the titantron with "2.5.20" in the middle of them. The rings then formed into a triangle shape and morphed into Velveteen Dream's sunglasses, revealing that the former NXT North American Champion had finally returned after a five-month absence.

The camera then panned to Dream standing on the top rope, as he prepared to dive onto The UE. The NXT Star then set about getting his revenge on Roderick Strong, who defeated him for the North American title on the September 18 episode of NXT.

After losing the title, Dream took some time off to recover from a back injury. Now, his previous rivalry with Strong looks set to continue as Dream wore tights with "Call Me Up Marina" emblazoned across his rear. Images of Dream, Shafir and Strong's and Marina's son Troy were also airbrushed onto his attire.
