Former WWE Star Makes IMPACT Wrestling Debut
A former WWE star has landed in IMPACT Wrestling
Dirty Dango received a helping hand on IMPACT Wrestling TV, when a familiar face from WWE past arrived in the company.
Dango was in action against Eric Young, Jake Something, Jordynne Grace, and Champagne Singh for the number 20 spot in the upcoming Call Your Shot Battle Royale at Bound for Glory on October 21, when Oleg Prudius came to ringside to attack Something, allowing Dango to get the win and the all important number 20 spot, whilst Something will enter at number one.
Prudius is of course better known as Vladimir Kozlov, with the Ukrainian star having been a part of WWE under the Kozlov name from 2008 until 2011. During his time in WWE, Kozlov was involved with the WWE Championship scene, before enjoying popularity as part of a comedy odd couple tag team with Santino Marella, the pair having one run as WWE Tag Team Champions.
Whilst this was Prudius’ first time getting physical in IMPACT, he has been part of the company since 2021, serving as part of IMPACT’s Russian language commentary team. Prudius also made a cameo earlier this year, being reunited with Marella, with Santino serving as IMPACT’s Director of Authority.
