WWE Consider Tony Khan's Tweets A "Declaration Of War"

WWE thinks Tony Khan is dishing out fighting words on social media

Tony Khan has had a busy old week on social media, taking to the X platform to not only advertise and promote his own AEW shows, but also to hit back at fans criticising his product and also at WWE’s NXT brand for loading up their recent head-to-head show with Dynamite this past Tuesday. Khan would comment about NXT not reaching a million viewers despite having two huge names in John Cena and The Undertaker on the show.

WWE haven’t ignored Khan’s recent activity, and according to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, those in WWE reached out to him and claimed that they saw Khan’s actions as somewhat of a “declaration of war” due to still going on about the topic of ratings and counterprogramming.

Khan has dished out insults the way of Triple H and Shawn Michaels during all this, which has also reportedly rubbed some people up the wrong way backstage in AEW, with many wishing he would simply put his phone away.
