John Cena Set To Appear On WWE SmackDown

John Cena will be on the blue brand's "season premiere" tonight

This week’s WWE SmackDown from Tulsa, Oklahoma has all the stars in the house, as it has been revealed by PWInsider that John Cena will be back on the blue brand tonight ahead of what will likely start off the build to the Crown Jewel event in November.

Cena was previously announced for SmackDown events throughout October, and it looks as though with the SAG-AFTRA strikes still ongoing, Cena will continue sticking around for the time being.

WWE has already announced that two other major names will be in attendance for what is being billed as the “season premiere” of Friday Night SmackDown. WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H will be in the building, as will the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, who has been absent from TV for around two months with his part-time schedule.

Whether Cena gets involved with Reigns is unclear, though he would certainly fit the bill for a major opponent come the Crown Jewel premium live event in Saudi Arabia. Cena has been involved with The Bloodline in recent weeks, beating Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa at the Fastlane event alongside LA Knight.
