A former WWE Women’s Champion has joined TNA Wrestling as part of their backstage team.

After recently competing in a TNA ring after a three-year absence from in-ring competition, Jazz has joined the company as a backstage agent, according to a report from Fightful Select. Exactly how long Jazz has been in the role is not clear, although it is believed she worked the most recent set of TNA IMPACT TV tapings.

A former two-time WWE Women’s Champion, Jazz is also an ECW Original, having wrestled for Paul Heyman’s legendary Philadelphia promotion from 1999 until 2000. Jazz wrestled for TNA - then IMPACT Wrestling - in 2020 and 2021, in between stints working for the National Wrestling Alliance. In the NWA, Jazz is a one-time NWA Women’s World Champion, and worked for the promotion as an agent.

It’s currently unknown if Jazz will wrestle any more matches inside a TNA ring, with her participation in a Knockouts World Championship Number One Contender's Battle Royal on the January 24 episode of IMPACT the first TNA match she competed in since April 2021. Prior to the battle royal in January, Jazz’s last match was at an IWC indie show in October 2021.
