WWE’s relationship with the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Sport is looking to continue, with the promotion potentially set to run three PLEs in the country in 2026.

It was recently announced that Saudi Arabia will play host to the 2026 Royal Rumble, and during a TKO earnings call on February 26, TKO CFO Andrew Schleimer announced that two more events will take place in the country in 2026, with the decision to host one event in Saudi Arabia in 2025 said to have resulted in an “unfavourable impact to our 2025 plan of approximately $55 million of total company revenue.”

The relationship between WWE and the Gulf state has been controversial since it was officially announced in 2018. Since 2019, WWE have held two events in the region per year, with the relationship between the two sides set to continue into 2027 at the very least.

So far, WWE have held 12 Premium Live Events, two TV tapings, and three house shows in Saudi Arabia, with the events deemed to be massive money spinners for the ‘sports entertainment’ powerhouse.
