Former WWE Wrestler Wishes He Stayed In NXT For Longer

A former WWE wrestler has said he wished his time in NXT was longer

Axel Tischer (the former Alexander Wolfe) was a member of the Sanity faction in WWE, and whilst the group had some success winning the NXT Tag Team Titles in NXT, they had very little luck on the main roster through inconsistent booking and a lack of being featured.

Tischer recently opened up about his time in NXT on Bobby Fish’s Undisputed Podcast, talking about the time the pair feuded in WWE’s developmental as part of the Sanity and Undisputed Era factions, and how he wished he could’ve stay in NXT for a longer period of time.

“I wish we would have continued that feud because I believe SAnitY versus Undisputed ERA, we would have had at least three-to-four months or let’s say two-to-three TakeOver matches in us because I remember we always had super, super fun with the six-man tags on the house show loops and the out-of-state shows, the Coconut loops, the out-of-state loops and just tried different stuff out. We always had good chemistry and however we paired up and always was fun and it was a bummer, not only to get the call-up without doing anything with you guys but, in a match, in a big blow-off match or something and then get the call-up. Just call up too early so yeah, again, I wish we would have stayed at least one year longer just to kind of finish because I thought the story was not finished between us."

Sanity got their call up to the main roster in 2018 though after a brief feud with the New Day, they didn’t do much on SmackDown. Perhaps staying in NXT longer would’ve benefited them considering the success they had there.
