FTR sent a message to AEW’s Tony Khan at NJPW Royal Quest II
FTR may be the current reigning AAA, IWGP, and ROH World Tag Team Champions but for some reason they find it hard getting booked consistently on AEW TV.
After dispatching Aussie Open at this past weekend’s NJPW Royal Quest II in London, Dax Harwood took the mic to address their lack of AEW screen time, “First things first; Tony Khan we still work for you, book us brother,” said Harwood as the crowd booed Khan.
After a whirlwind start to 2022 Harwood and Cash Wheeler haven’t teamed together on AEW TV since Forbidden Door in June, and since then have only managed three appearances as a team - but in trios action. In fact, the team haven’t had a televised traditional two-on-two tag bout since May.
The team’s matches against The Briscoes at ROH Supercard of Honor and Death Before Dishonor have been praised as two of the greatest matches all year in any promotion, with FTR’s in-ring performances and earnest mic-work turning them into one of the most popular acts in AEW.
