Bandido had plenty of interest even before his AEW debut finished.

The luchador challenged Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship in his first AEW match, earning rave reviews for his performance and being cheered loudly by the fans in Philadelphia.

Bandido was a free agent heading into the Jericho match and the former PWG World Champion's performance was so impressive that WWE wanted to speak to him before his Dynamite debut was even over, according to Wrestling Observer's Bryan Alvarez.

"Bandido, after Wednesday, was immediately offered a full-time contract...Now it just says here that he was offered a deal. Hopefully he's signed because WWE was asking for his number before that match was even over," Alvarez said on Wrestling Observer Live.

WWE may have been too late, though, as AEW immediately offered Bandido a full-time deal following his Dynamite match. There is no word on if he has signed with the promotion as of yet.
