FTR have made the call to part ways with long time manager Tully Blanchard, after firing the legendary Horseman on this week’s edition of AEW: Dynamite.

In a backstage interview with Alex Marvez, Dax Harwood reflected on FTR’s recent back-to-back losses in tag team battle royals in the run up to AEW: Revolution, noting that wrestling was his main love in life, before his wedding and the birth of his child. Blanchard piped up saying FTR need to refocus and go after tag gold once more saying the team have a job to do. Harwood then grabbed the WWE Hall of Famer by his jacket lapel as Cash Wheeler dismissed Blanchard from his duties.

Harwood later took to Twitter, simply posting: “Bret, what are you up to?”

FTR have made no secret of their love for Bret Hart, with Harwood reflecting on his admiration for ‘The Hitman’ after revealing how Shawn Michaels disrespected Harwood in WWE.

This isn’t the only time Bret has been linked with AEW recently, with CM Punk breaking down in tears when talking about how Hart’s career was unfairly ended during a post AEW Revolution media scrum.

Hart has appeared for AEW before, unveiling the AEW World Championship in 2019. There has been no concrete links between Hart and AEW outside of these passing remarks from FTR and Punk, but with the upcoming Owen Hart Cup Tournament on the horizon, it would make sense to bring ‘Hitman’ back into the fold.
