FTR Says CMFTR Vs. The Elite Is More Likely As Time Goes On

FTR believes that time could heal wounds with CM Punk and The Elite

Although it still seems as though no progress has been made on the CM Punk & The Elite front, not everyone is closing the door on things eventually being in a good enough position for an angle on AEW programming.

FTR, known close friends to CM Punk both on and off-screen, recently challenged The Young Bucks to a match at AEW All In, with a World Tag Team Championship bout between the two teams being made official shortly after. This is the closest since perhaps Brawl Out itself that anyone in Punk’s circle has worked with The Elite in an on-screen capacity.

When talking to DAZN, FTR revealed that with time, they think that in the end things may work out and peace could be made in order for a dream trios match which sees FTR & CM Punk face The Young Bucks & Kenny Omega.

"I think if the cards fall in the right place and, you know, the story is right and the opportunity calls for it then hell yeah, you can do it. I think wrestling is all about making the most money for yourselves and for the company you work for and I think that everybody here all agrees with that and the more time passes, the more likely I think it is that we can get to there. But you never really know, and I don't want to say 'yes' but I hope so."
