Full List Of WWE Releases From February 2025

Following Duke Hudson's surprising release in January, WWE let more talents go over the weekend, with it being revealed late on Friday, February 7 and into the early hours on Saturday, February 8 that a number of wrestlers had either been released or had been told their contracts hadn't been renewed.

Not every talent who had been let go was initially revealed, however, and the full picture of WWE releases didn't emerge until the end of the weekend. Every talent with the exception of Sonya Deville, who was told her contract would not be renewed, was let go by the company and is subject to a 90-day non-compete clause as they were main roster wrestlers.

The full list of WWE releases is as follows:

• Sonya Deville - Contact not being renewed.
• Akam
• Rezar
• Paul Ellering
• Blair Davenport
• Cedric Alexander
• Luke Gallows
• Karl Anderson
• Isla Dawn
• Giovanni Vinci
• Elektra Lopez

It has been reported that the belief within WWE NXT is the releases were related to the next batch of NXT call-ups, which are expected to take place in 2025.

The future of many of the released talents has yet to be revealed but the expectation is the Hurt Syndicate will push for All Elite Wrestling to sign Cedric Alexander. The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion was previously a part of the Hurt Business with Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and MVP.
