Full NJPW Sakura Genesis 2025 Card Revealed

New Japan Pro-Wrestling's next major event will be Sakura Genesis from Ryogoku Sumo Hall on Saturday, April 5 and the full card for the show has been revealed.

As expected, the main event will be Hirooki Goto vs. David Finlay for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Finlay earned the title shot by winning the New Japan Cup on Thursday, March 20 with a victory against Shota Umino in the final.

Several other matches were also set up for Sakura Genesis during multi-man matches at the New Japan Cup Final, including Yota Tsuji vs. EVIL for the IWGP Global Heavyweight Title, and Tetsuya Naito & Hiromu Takahashi vs. Jeff Cobb & Callum Newman for the IWGP Tag Team Championships.

All Elite Wrestling's Konosuke Takeshita will be in action at Sakura Genesis when he defends the NEVER Openweight Title against TMDK's Ryohei Oiwa.
