Chavo Guerrero Reveals Steven Spielberg Is A Fan Of Pro Wrestling

Pro wrestling fans come from all walks of life, even Hollywood with it revealed that Steven Spielberg is a fan of the sport.

That’s according to Chavo Guerrero Jr., who revealed that he and the legendary director were sharing wrestling stories whilst working on a recent movie together, with Guerrero saying the following on Busted Open Radio:

“I just finished working with Steven Spielberg. Just finished… the movie is still not out yet, and he was a wrestling fan. We were exchanging André the Giant stories and when he used to watch wrestling down at the (Grand) Olympic Auditorium and you know, John Tolos, The Golden Greek used to be one of his favourites and we’re talking about all of this stuff and these are people that I grew up with, that I’ve known since I was a kid and to have that rapport with Spielberg… He was a fan because he got it. He understood the entertainment value of pro wrestling,” said Guerrero. 

Other Hollywood names who are self-professed wrestling fans include Matthew McConaughey, Macaulay Culkin, and Vanessa Hudgens, amongst others.
