Scrapped AEW Plans For Harley Cameron Revealed

Plans for Harley Cameron to reunite with Saraya and eventually defeat her former mentor were pitched within All Elite Wrestling but Saraya believes AEW won't be moving forward with those plans whenever the former AEW Women's World Champion returns to TV.

Addressing her run with Harley Cameron in The Outcasts with The Takedown on SI, Saraya said:

"Working with Harley was amazing. I had so much fun with her, [but] I said to her, 'The best thing I can do for you right now is take a break and be away from you.' People love her. I'm like, 'I need to take a break. And then maybe, eventually, I can come back and we can go into a story where I'm just trying to hold you back again, and then you get your big pin on me.' That's the idea that I wanted. I don't think we're doing that now, but I said the best thing I can do is take a step back."

Saraya has not wrestled in AEW since October 2024, while Harley Cameron has only grown in popularity through a high-profile feud with Mercedes Moné. Cameron is currently being featured on AEW TV as Harleygram, the manager of Hologram.

Saraya may not be wrestling for much longer as she revealed that her pro wrestling career is ending "very soon."
